A mile from the Woodstock green. The listing says the house, called Alta House, looks out at Mount Tom and the Marsh-Billings park, which it calls Vermont's only national park, at the end of a quiet road it shares with one other home.

The main house has a bedroom suite on each of its three levels. The 2023 addition is the draw: a 1,040-square-foot pool house with floor-to-ceiling windows, its own Viking kitchen and a guest bed, opening onto a heated outdoor pool the listing says is used in all four seasons. At about $801 a square foot, it is the second-priciest per foot in this group, after Skyland Farm.
