A piece of valley history. The listing says this barn housed three restaurants over more than 60 years, Orsini's, La Pasta and finally The Common Man, before a 2019 renovation turned it into three separate homes, each with its own kitchen, living room, hot tub and patio. It is sold as all three units together.

The great room keeps the old character: cathedral ceilings, exposed barn timber, reclaimed windows, an antler chandelier and a stone fireplace. The listing says the building has run since 2019 as a short-term rental called the Mad House, rented by the unit or whole for weddings and reunions, and that the Mad Bus, the valley's shuttle, stops out front for Lincoln Peak and Mount Ellen, Sugarbush's two mountains. It has been listed about 402 days.
