Our takeBy Jack Beckett

The address that matters here is not the street, it is the trail. The listing places this home, in the Trailside Village condominium complex, directly on Great Eastern, Killington's long, easy green run, and the listing's first photo is a map drawn to prove it, with a red line in and a red line out. For a family that skis at different speeds, an easy trail at the door is the useful kind.

The building dates to 1982, and the listing says its exterior has since been redone: a metal roof, new siding, windows, doors, stonework and decks. Inside there are three bedrooms and three full baths, a kitchen with trail views, and a private hot tub. Budget for the association dues, about $1,700 a month, on top of an asking price of roughly $720 a square foot.
